COXON Raymond James 1896-1997
Painter and muralist born at Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Coxon served with the Cavalry in Palestine in World War I and soon after studied at Leeds College of Art, 1919-21 and RCA, 1921-25.
