Chris Beetles Gallery

Chris Beetles has been dealing in illustrations for more than a quarter of a century. His eponymous gallery located in Mayfair, London is one of the largest galleries of its kind in Europe. The range of his stock spanning 250 years, is arguably the largest in the British Isles, and concentrates mainly, but not exclusively on illustrators and cartoonists. Beetles has done much to popularise this area of collecting and his works on paper covers all pockets. His expertise in watercolours has resulted in a huge number of publications often deemed the definitive work on the chosen artist and these publications have in themselves become collector's items.

Branching out into photography around 2005 he soon built a second reputation as a gallery par-excellence in the newly burgeoning photographic market. Chris Beetles Fine Photographs was born in 2011 and opened a gallery in Swallow Street off Piccadilly in central London.
