Darlington Borough Art Collection

The Borough Art Collection has been built up over many years through donations, purchases and legacies. The Collection has both local and national significance with artworks featuring local scenes and figures as well as works of art by internationally acclaimed artists such as Graham Sutherland and Spencer Gore. Darlington Library has a small collection comprising mainly portraits of local dignitaries and also pictures of local scenes and architectural significance.
