John Noott Galleries

Over more than four decades, John Noott has established a reputation as one of the country's leading fine art dealers with a vast knowledge of 19th and 20th-century paintings. His expertise is regularly called upon to sit on vetting committees at major art fairs around the country and he has arguably an unrivalled relationship with the major UK auction houses. His daughter Mandy (Amanda) has, over two decades, developed the contemporary side of the business and all of the John Noott Galleries are proud to exhibit some of the finest artists of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

John Noott Galleries at Dickens House

Established in 1972, the Galleries have possibly the largest and most varied stock of paintings and sculptures in the country. Our gallery in Dickens House, Broadway, formerly the prestigious showrooms of the famous Gordon Russell Furniture Ltd, exhibits paintings from the Victorian period, together with Modern British paintings and sculpture covering the period 1900 - 1950, together with an excellent selection of traditional contemporary works from leading British and European artists.

Broadway Editions Gallery

John Noott Galleries at Cotswold Court, Broadway display a regularly changing selection of original paintings in oils, watercolour and pastel, together with an extensive range of limited edition giclée prints exclusively offered in editions of no more than 50. These are printed to the highest quality using light-fast archival inks and proofing of each image is achieved in collaboration with the artist to ensure the final image is as faithful to the artist's original work as possible.

Broadway Modern

Broadway Modern, as its name suggests, specialises in British art, sculpture, ceramics, furniture and glass with a 'modern' feel - not necessarily abstract but 21st century. The gallery's six showrooms hold a diverse and eclectic range of work, from well-established British artists whose work is collected worldwide, to recent graduates who are likely to have a promising future. The gallery has a continually changing stock and holds many solo and group exhibitions throughout the year. In addition in this wonderful 17th century Cotswold stone building, there exists a walled sculpture garden displaying a wide range of pieces in stone and metalwork.
