Katharine House Gallery

Located on The Parade in the Wiltshire town of Marlborough in a listed 16th century building, this gallery offers an eclectic mix of paintings, prints, drawings, constructions, sculptures and ceramics by Modern British artists and potters.

Since the early 1990's, Katharine House Gallery has dealt in Modern British Art with particular emphasis on the post-World War II period. Artists whose work we regularly stock include Terry Frost, Michael Canney, Sandra Blow, Henry Cliffe, Denis Bowen, Clifford Fishwick, and Roy Turner Durrant. We also stock original prints by Eric Gill, David Jones, Robin Tanner, Eric Ravilious and other major Modern British printmakers. Interestingly proprietor Chris Gange has developed a growing reputation for good quality British Studio Pottery of a similar period. Since the millennium the gallery has staged solo exhibitions by Michael Canney, Morris Cox and Barbara Jones and in 2008 'Roy Turner Durrant' in association with the Fine Art Society, London.
