South Shields Museum & Art Gallery

This museum and art gallery explores the story of the area immediately south of the river Tyne through a variety of displays including some important art related matter. It is run by and falls under the umbrella of Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums. Artists such as Robert Jobling, Ralph Hedley and Bernard Benedict Hemy are represented in the collection.
