Colour Magazine

Colour contained a broad-ranging mix of short stories, poetry, and articles about art. What makes it particularly interesting is its numerous reproductions mainly in colour of work by contemporary British painters. These include members of the Camden Town Group, the London Group and other well-known artists of the period 1914-1932 which was the life of the magazine. Artists represented include Robert Bevan, Walter Sickert, Harold Gilman, Charles Ginner, Frederick Porter, Anne Estelle Rice plus many examples of work by World War I artists.
