Pangolin London

Situated close to Kings Cross station, Pangolin is probably the only gallery in the capital dedicated to exhibiting only sculpture. Representing a solid stable of both established and emerging artists and artist estates, Pangolin London curates a dynamic exhibition programme that focuses on the historic developments of British Sculpture as well as the cutting-edge contemporary. Pangolin is closely connected with arguably Europe’s leading sculpture foundry, Pangolin Editions, which enables the gallery to offer a unique service to both collector and artist alike with expertise in all areas of the making, commissioning and installation of sculpture.

Pangolin Editions based in Chalford, Gloucestershire was established in 1984 by Rungwe Kingdon and his wife Claude Keonig and is one of Europe's leading sculpture foundries casting for an international clientele and to any scale. It is one of the few foundries still practising the traditional skills of lost wax block investment casting. In addition to the lost wax facilities, a 3,000 square metre unit houses the sand moulding process where the largest of monuments can be enlarged, moulded or fabricated. The foundry prides itself on fine craftsmanship. Alongside cutting-edge technologies, each bronze is handcrafted to produce a distinctive, faithful and accurate finish. Artists with whom they have worked include Damien Hirst, Lynn Chadwick, Ann Christopher, Ralph Brown, Bryan Kneale, Kenneth Armitage, Elisabeth Frink, Reg Butler, Anthony Caro, Antony Gormley, Philip King, Eduardo Paolozzi and many more.
