Radio Times

Founded in September 1923, it originally carried only listings of BBC radio programmes. At one time it reached the pinnacle of being the magazine with the largest circulation in Europe. Over more than seventy-five years of publication it has continually reproduced superb illustrations by the UK’s best illustrators and artists. These include Edward Ardizzone, Mervyn Peake, Ronald Searle and arguably the greatest Radio Times illustrator of them all, Eric Fraser.
