Industrial Painters Group

Little is as yet known about this group which was founded in 1957. The artists Druie Bowett and Elizabeth Bridge are known to have shown with them and Terence Cuneo was for a time the group’s President. The exhibitions took place in London at the Guildhall and they were still showing in the mid-1960’s. The group's exhibitions of 1961 and 1962 held at the Guildhall, incorporated exhibits from the Society of Aviation Artists. The objective of the Aviation Artists exhibiting with the Industrial painter it is was assumed to attract further patronage.
