Society of Equestrian Artists

The Society, founded by Norman Hoad in 1979 exists with the sole aim of encouraging the art of equestrian painting and sculpture and thereby to advance public appreciation and understanding of this art form. Annual exhibitions are usually held in August at the Mall Galleries, London. Founder members included Leslie C Benenson, Neil Cawthorne, Tom Coates, Norman Hoad, John King, L. John Morris and Susie Whitcombe.
