Bankside Gallery
Located on the Southbank of the River Thames since it was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1980. It is a registered educational charity. It is near Blackfriars Bridge and almost next to the Tate Modern. The gallery is home to both the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and occasionally stages other exhibiting societies such as the Association of Illustrators and the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists.
