Colin Jellicoe Gallery

This gallery is run by its eponymous founder Colin Jellicoe,(1943-1918). Jellicoe is a Manchester-born artist who has painted and exhibited at his own small gallery and elsewhere for over half a century. In 2010 he held an anniversary exhibition to mark the 50 years since he started as an artist. His first gallery was in the Manchester suburb of Rusholme but in 1968, through local gallery owner Margot Ingam, he was introduced to Alan Behar. Together they opened the gallery on the present site at Portland Street in central Manchester.

Colin Jellicoe also shows a variety of artists' works covering a range of styles. Artists who have shown with Jellicoe include Geoffrey Key, Ian McLeod, Ken Lamming and John McPake.
