Fermoy Gallery
The Gallery located at St. George's Courtyard, in King's Lynn, is in one of the range of warehouses which adjoin the Guildhall and was converted in the 1960’s by Lady Fermoy, a lady in waiting to the late Queen Mother, as a memorial to her late husband, Lord Fermoy, a former mayor and MP of King’s Lynn. Part of the King’s Lynn Arts Centre Trust, an independent company limited by guarantee and a registered charity, receives funding from the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk and Norfolk County Council. The gallery's publicity officer was graphic designer Louise Millar Watt. Management of the venue was transferred from the Local Authority to a newly formed Trust. The Fermoy Gallery and Shakespeare Barn is at The Guildhall, King's Lynn and is part of Norfolk Contemporary Art Society, which presents contemporary and applied art by artists and makers from East Anglia.
Artists who have exhibited at the Fermoy include Michael Boycott-Brown, Jeffery Camp, Michel Desrochers, Mary Webb, and Rhonda Whitehead.
