Gillian Jason Gallery

The gallery was founded in 1980 by the eponymous owner Gillian Jason (b. 1941). In 2019, the Gallery faced a fresh start when it was taken over by Elli and Millie Jason Foster, respectively, Gillian's daughter and granddaughter. In 2021, the duo re-established a physical gallery space in Central London at 19 Great Titchfield Street. Shortly after, Elli Jason Foster passed the mantle to Millie, as the third generation of women to direct the Gillian Jason Gallery, which works with female-identifying artists past and present. The gallery stages engaging exhibitions, and the development of the gallery runs parallel with that of modern feminism.
