Michael Parkin Gallery

Michael Parkin (1931-2014) dealt in Modern British Art for nearly 50 years after opening his eponymous gallery in Belgravia first in Halkin Arcade and later in Motcomb Street. The artists he has sold through his legendary exhibitions include James McNeill Whistler, brothers Henry and Walter Greaves, Mortimer Menpes, Walter Sickert, Sylvia Gosse, Augustus Lunn, Wendela Boreel, Sybil Andrews, Horace Brodsky and Claude Flight. He staged in all over two hundred and forty separate exhibitions.
