The Windmill

A rather obscure fin-de-siècle literary and art magazine of which only two volumes were published during the period 1898-1900. Issued quarterly by London-based publishers Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent, its contributors included Gleeson White, Graily Hewitt, Dolf Wyllarde, Olive Custance, Edith Robarts, and artists include Starr Wood (who designed the front cover of all issues), Laurence Housman, Jessie Bayes, Paul Woodroffe, C.H.B. Quennell, J.J. Guthrie, Alan Wright and T.H. Robinson
