New Art Centre, Roche Court

Founded in 1958, the original gallery was located in Sloane Street, London where it remained until 1994 and was simply known as the 'New Art Centre'. It then relocated to Roche Court approximately 8 miles north-east of the Wiltshire town of Salisbury. The existing house and Orangery were built in 1804 and, together with the grounds, Roche Court is now used as a sculpture park and educational centre where work is shown both inside and outside in open parklands.

The Centre represents various artists' estates including Barbara Hepworth, Kenneth Armitage and Ian Stephenson and the gallery is the venue for a changing programme of exhibitions. Artists and sculptors who have exhibited there include, as well as the aforementioned, Phyllida Barlow, Anthony Caro, Helen Chadwick, Michael Craig-Martin, Hubert Dalwood, Richard Deacon, Barry Flanagan, Antony Gormley, Phillip King, Christopher Le Brun, Richard Long, Peter Randall-Page, Bridget Riley, William Tucker, Alison Wilding and Bill Woodrow.
