Tryon Gallery

The Tryon Galleries comprises the original Tryon Gallery, founded in 1959, and the Royal Exchange Art Gallery, specialising in the very best of sporting pictures, wildlife art and marine paintings. In recent years, the Moorland Gallery (1972), Oliver Swann Galleries (1995) and Malcolm Innes Gallery (2000) have all merged with the Tryon, making it a centre for a variety of quality art. In 2013, it merged with Rountree Fine Art (founded by Jamie Rountree) to become Rountree Tryon Galleries, broadening its focus to include maritime and topographical art. The Gallery typically holds about six exhibitions a year, featuring either gallery artists or group shows of living and/or deceased artists.
